Chilling Tales! Wisconsin Authors and Investigators SpeakAugust 3rd, 2012
10-09-12: The Chilling Tales event has been cancelled.
Hi all. I haven’t blogged in a while, since I’ve been very busy. The Downtown West Bend Ghost Walks have been very successful, and I’ve been finishing the final revisions on the book which will be out in roughly two month!
I did think I should take the time to tell you about an exciting event I’m going to be part of this October. The Washington County Historical Society is trying something new this Halloween! Instead of the usual “Ghosts of Washington County” program, this year I’ll be at the first ever “Chilling Tales: Wisconsin Authors and Investigators Speak!”
This event is like a mini-convention of sorts for paranormal enthusiasts! I’ll be there with copies of “Washington County Paranormal: A Wisconsin Legend Trip.” I’ll be speaking, taking questions, and signing books.
Walworth County’s Linda S. Godfrey, author of Strange Wisconsin, the Beast of Bray Road, and Hunting the American Werewolf, will be there. I’m a huge fan of Linda’s. Not only is she one of the nicest people ever, but she’s also the foremost expert on American werewolf sightings. Linda has been on Coast-to-Coast AM as well as History Channel’s Monster Quest!
Wisconsin’s own paranormal fiction author Jennifer R. Turner will also be present! JR is the author of the Extreme Hauntings series of books, as well as her most recent book, Redemption!
While all this is going on, you can also sign up for paranormal investigations of the Old Sheriff’s Residence and Jail, lead by members of the Paranormal Investigation and Research Society!
Registration is now open! Click HERE to view the printable PDF form. Please fill it and send it in with payment to the address on the form!
