Imprisoned Spirits: Haunted Museums ToursJuly 2nd, 2012
As many of you are already aware, The Washington County Legend Trip bus tour is sold out! If you missed out, don’t worry! The Washington County Historical Society has another paranormal program running all summer long called, Imprisoned Spirits: Haunted Museums Tours!
Imprisoned Spirits is a 90 minutes long guided tour through both the Old Courthouse Museum AND the Old Sheriff’s Residence and Jail! You’ll hear paranormal experiences by staff members and volunteers who actually experienced them! You’ll also get to see some of the paranormal (?) photographs captured on last year’s tours!
This year’s tour has been updated with new stories of the paranormal, more information on some of the eccentric, and sometimes abhorrent, criminals who have been housed in the jail, and the identity and origin of the Old Courthouse’s ghostly janitor George will finally be revealed! Not that anyone cares, but I’ll be at many of these tours as a volunteer guide!
Thanks in advance for signing up! 100% of the Haunted Museum Tour’s income benefit the Washington County Historical Society, an organization that keep this county’s history (and ghost stories) from being forgotten!
Space on these tours is extremely limited given the cramped confines of many of the rooms you’ll be walking through. Make your reservations soon!
