More Downtown West Bend Ghost Walks Added!

Hi Everyone!

There are currently less than two months left in the inaugural Downtown West Bend Ghost Walk season! So far they’ve been a great success. If you’ve already taken one, thank you! Funds from these walks are being used to finance the book “Washington County Paranormal: A Wisconsin Legend Trip,” which I’ll have a release day for in just a couple of weeks!

People have been asking about, and reserving spots for, the walks in September and October. This week alone I’ve gotten 16 reservations for October! I’m getting so much interest I’ve added additional dates! If you’re planning on talking the walk this year, I recommend you make reservations right away. Halloween season has officially been upon us since Labor Day Weekend, and interest is high this time of year! If none of the below dates work for you, do remember that I’ll schedule tours on additional dates for groups of 5 or more people (if we’ve no prior commitments).

Also, thinking about buying tickets to Chilling Tales!? Chilling Tales guests can take the Downtown West Bend Ghost Walk that night (October 13) for half price ($5 ea.)!

For someone from outside of Washington County who might be considering a ghost tour, what sort of things can one expect to see on a tour?

The walk is 90 minutes, starts at 5th and Chestnut is about 15 blocks. There are roughly 11 stops along the way. Each stop is the location of an alleged ghostly-experience. In addition to telling ghost stories I also add as much historical information as possible. Stops along the way include the Old Sheriff’s Residence and Jail, Old Washington County Courthouse, Old West Bend City Hall, and similar locations. As of right now we don’t have access to any of the stops (they’re all closed by the time the walk starts), but there is a snack/bathroom break half-way through.
