The Book is Published!

October 3rd, 2012

I had teased all of you earlier tonight that I had a big announcement to make on Night Haunts Radio. If  you missed it, at roughly 6PM Central this evening I approve the final draft of Washington County Paranormal: A Wisconsin Legend Trip, and the book is now officially published.

As of right now you can only order the book via it’s e-store (the author’s preferred method) or In 6-8 weeks it’ll be available all over the web, and at you’re nearest bookstore or library (if you don’t see it on the shelf, ask for it)!

I am elated to have finally seen such a wonderful, yet stressful project through to it’s conclusion. When I first decided to write something larger than a short story, I read a Lewis Black quote where he described writing a book as being, to paraphrase, a homework assignment that’s never finished. That’s a true description. It’s the only homework assignment I’ve had that lasted roughly 18 months. I tweaked, and pefected, and fretted, and now it’s out there. I’ll leave it up to all of you to decide if I did a good job.

I plan to write a series of blogs over the next several days thanking many of the individuals and organizations who’ve helped this book become a reality. There are several key people and/or groups  that I couldn’t have done this without. For now though, I’m going to go take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy the moment. Now the real work begins… now I have promote it.
